$4 off regular price for the sprinkler; lol.
Has anyone here used it and have any feedback? I have an old non-smart Rainbird system and wondering if it will be useful to change to Wyze.

Ever since they stop their free video upload service for their Wyze Cam (which I have several), I am done with buying their products and services.

isn’t their cam plus lite still free and does 12 second uploads?

I thought you could choose contribute $0 for camplus lite and get the same thing? Am I missing something?

I am not even mad about stopping the video upload (servers cost money) but I am mad about making free features (on which you sold the product on in the first place) as paid options later down the road.

I have an SD card, let me keep the features it came with.

Yes, but when I registered for it before their deadline, my registration email came back after two weeks and by that time, no free cam plus light for me any more.

I bought their cam among all others solely because of their free video upload which now costs $$$/year.

I would just call them and stated that you missed the deadline. They would grant you camplus lite for free still, I have seen people doing that in facebook groups discussions.

I guess I could, but I am not happy with 12sec video either. Plus, I do not want to support a company that does bait and switch.

12 second video is ok. Would love to find something better. Was looking at Eufy. If you try it, let me know how it goes. Apparently there’s no subscription.

I have Eufy. Overall ok except Eufy has problem with their notifications. could be very late notification and missing sound notification for me.

I think the most annoying thing is the fact that without their paid Plus service they only allow you to get motion detection once every 5 minutes and that's something they could easily allow for free because it doesn't cost them anything to provide it since it happens at the device-level.

Yes, it was initially setup with a beta firmware to use RTSP but I guess it was a great success that it's now part of their more recent firmware.

Does it work with v2 and v3? Does it work without subscribing or registering anywhere? And without a connection to the internet?

I thought I read somewhere that it was pushed to the default firmware as a built-in standard option but this article which was recently updated in January still shows it's a beta version. Super easy to utilize and setup - I tested it out and had it record to my NAS but just opted to leave it recording to the 256GB SD Card I had installed.

Thank you! I have an old Wyze cam, don't remember the version. I had to do a Fang or Fong mod to enable RTSP. Now, if they could publish the v3's field of view. For some reason this info is missing while it's available for the other two cameras. And I didn't realize that Amazon bought Wyze.
EDIT: Found it: "Field of View: 130º diagonal"
