I tried to purchase it for free, I started my Xbox x , changed to another ultimate Xbox account, then I saw $49.99 to purchase, wasted my time.

So your free trial ran out or something? You can’t keep using the free trials.. I don’t think that works in Playstation or Xbox world. I’m not really interested in the game, just the weird aggressive and defensive posts, all you guys can buy both systems and not be jerks about it to each other you know. I mean, you could literally jump on a game and shoot each other in the head and have fun instead! Games are coming cross platform, heck one day it’ll all be cloud gaming anyway, it’s also a bit weird to me to champion a company when they don’t pay you.

If anyone wants I’ll add them so I can headbutt your bullets if it’ll make you feel better!

I'm not here to flex but if you're an avid gamer, I believe you should have both Xbox and PS, as well as Switch. PC is a bonus. I have all of those so I can take advantage of all the deals they offer and experience the exclusives.

Console wars and all that is non-sense to me. Appreciate them all and competition is always good for us.

I've brought up this issue of gaming updates in hot deals for PS+ and XBL with the admin staff. Until then everybody chill out. I should also point out that this site relies on clicks so sometimes threads which may not be technically hot deals (Nintendo threads are always a crowd favourite) is kept in that forum as it provides a benefit to the site as a whole.

If these threads aren't for you simply ignore the thread and move on. If it really bothers you (as always) I encourage you to make a thread in the site feedback forum with why it bothers you and how you would change it.

Thread-crapping and insulting people helps absolutely no one.

I like these threads for hot games on game pass similar to the free ps plus games.

This games 79 on metacritic, will be a pass for me personally. I still gota go play skyward sword, which is one of the most frustrating Zelda game’s Ive ever played in my life. The shitty controls were pissing me off so much I legit got a headache lol, was playing on pro controller.
Now playing with joy cons and it’s a bit better but still super annoying.

For what it's worth, I find the Game Pass/PS Plus/NS Online posts useful. Not so much because they alert me to hot deals (I hear about the deals elsewhere before I come hear), but more because the discussion usually leads to some interesting commentary on what games are good, what games are not, how much value they represent, etc. These also represent some of the hottest deals in gaming today, even if they're well known about.

However, even though people are being rude and overly blunt in making their points on here, I also understand the concern some people have for a page getting flooded down by weak quality posts of a karma-seeking variety. Some of my favourite video game related reddit pages have degraded substantially over the years due to poor moderation, to the point where 3/4 of the daily posts are cosplay pictures, gameroom pictures, stories about how video games brought long-lost people together, stories about marginalized people having found a 'home' with the gaming community, etc. None of that stuff is harmful per se, but when it adds up in such abundance, then yes, there is a very annoying root problem.

My primary two cents is that we don't have a major flooding problem on this site right now. A few posts per week is not a big deal, and at worst (not my view) it represents a dribble down of unnecessary postings, rather than a flood. It's still very easy to find and navigate posts about good deals for games that get sold individually via retail and/or digital storefronts. I come every day and have no trouble 'sifting' through the daily tide.

What do you mean, I’m being serious too. Personally I got GP for 3 years back when it was a buck to upgrade. Gold felt like a rip off but the amount of value I get from gp is great, though I’m not a hardcore gamer. I buy very few games now. I find my switch gets little use, now if Sony would pull a twisted metal out it’s butt I might snag one… anyway, I’m having fun with it, I just don’t understand where you are coming from.

the game is 45$ on steam which seems quite steep, good deal being able to try it on gamepass for the subscription fee. in comparison, death door's released today too for 23$ on steam which seems much more reasonable...

A $50 game releasing on game pass day one is a deal, period.
