Why would this be a "hot deal"? All the prices you listed are at least 25% more than what the MRSP is.

Don't forget they also make up an imaginary price, put a slash through it, then tell you you're saving 80%. What a con - or business as usual for these shops.

From sellers: Now we have Only Chinese version available.
Mi band 3 screen is displayed in Chinese.
No deal for now... I'd wait for English version.

I like it, this looks like a good replacement for my Gear Fit2. With the features, 20 day battery life compared to charging mine every other day. Waiting for the international English version.

I think this thing is super dissaspointing. It's barely better than the mi band 2. There has to be better options.

I mean, if Amazon can do it, why not these guys too?

When have you ever seen Amazon list a product above the MSRP, and then say you're saving a certain amount based on a price that it has never been sold for? I don't believe Amazon does this as it's illegal, at least in Canada.

Story from last year: Amazon Canada fined $1.1m for misleading pricing

And I noticed them doing it again (here and there, not quite as widespread as it was before they got fined) starting sometime late last year, maybe.

at $26 translated MSRP these aren't really good prices.

ohh there is a version with NFC that sounds fun. I'll definitely be waiting for English versions but $31 MSRP translated sounds like a decent price. I paid about $20 for my MiBand 2

which I mostly love (I have thick wrists and I'm waiting for an larger band to come in) +$11 for the next version isn't bad and continuous HR monitor is a pretty spiffy feature rather than having to manually do it when I want to check.

So this is the newest Mi Band. The first two models have been praised for offering basic Fibit features at a small price. The third iteration is similar to the 2nd model except it features a bigger screen and better bluetooth capabilities from what I understand. The device is best suited to work on Android and imo Tools & Mi Band is a good app to get more functionality for it. Also, the price is at $46 CAD or $35 USD which is quite a bit more than the first two models.

The screen looks a bit better and bigger. I have a Mi Band 2 and it will only say who texted, you can't read texts from it. Looks like pretty much everything else is the same.

I didn't read much about it as I don't use miband anymore, but it seems it got some screen for notifications, like you can read some of it on screen and I do some stuff like reject call, close notification, stop alarm (iirc you cant do much on miband2)

Might want to wait for the new version with NFC, not sure if they will have much use outside of China, but if they do, might be a be a cheap way to get into google pay and stuff.

Does that mean shorter battery time between charges?

Is this currently the best price we can get online?

Should I wait for the NFC version? I know Xiaomi will put bus pass support in China, but there wont be any support for NFC use in Canada?

If I understand it correctly, the band displays are in Chinese. If you want to see English you need to go to your phone.
