Do any of you guys have pets? If so, how did it perform?

I have purchased (and returned) four different models because they all failed within a month due to the dog hair getting wound up in the gears and brush.

Does anybody know the height of the vacuum? Trying to figure out if it'll clean under some of the furniture around my house.

So will this automatically vacuum my whole 2nd floor with 4 bedrooms, or will I have to manually pick it up and put it in each bedroom when it's done vacuuming one?

Entire floor. All bedrooms. Provided there isn't a ginormous "hump" for the vacuum to get stuck on.

And this works in the dark right?

My Roomba 980 (bought used since I can't afford to spend $1k on a vacuum) is blind in the dark so I have two lamps turn on past midnight.

Anyone found replacement batteries for this Xiaomi? The roomba's (genuine) can be bought for around $70 USD on ebay.
=====
For those who can pick up in the States, I still see the ad on SD for $280 all in and I confirm the coupon code works on the vacuum.

You probably should avoid a vac that has a roller brush and look for one that uses a different system.
An excessive amount of hair will always get tangled in vacs that use a roller brush and will require frequent cleaning, hence the provided cleaner tool.

This has LSD navigation and maps out the entire room so its pretty smart. The higher end roombas also do this like the ROomba 980 costing almost 1k.

Finally outsmarted my 980 by blocking all known troublespots. Once lights are off, it finds it difficult to back to its docking station. Just had to extend the timer on the lamps and station for another hour because it takes about 90 minutes to cover 52 m2.

This Xiaomi is interesting and rated well and at a fraction of the 900 series though it seems it will be disposable without good replacement batteries.

Hopefully these would work but expect there will be more available when demand increases as the xiaomi ages

IO ordered one from Geekbuying last week so I will let you know if it arrives. Also on the battery topic I would just go to "THe BAttery Guy" they make a battery custom for everything on the planet. They just add the original heads to a stock battery with same specs and size etc. I have had them make me a battery for all kinds of wierd things and nver an issue. The last one was for a underwater scooter and no issue and way cheaper than factory.
