Year End Lease Deals?

I'm thinking about leasing a 2018 vehicle, nothing specific at this point, in November or December. Have I missed out on the best lease offers already or should I expect some fire sale offers on remaining 2018 inventory yet to come? I've looked online at all the manufacturers websites for current offers and I don't see anything very good for lease specials. What is the generally the best time of year for cheap lease offers?

your query is too generic to answer.

budget ?
cheap brands or premium luxury brands ?
domestic ? Japanese ? European ?
type of vehicle ?
list goes on and on ...

I have no specifics in mind at this point. Just looking for a really good lease deal. Could be anything from an Elantra to a 5 series. If the deal is right I'll jump on it. From what I have seen right now there are some decent cash incentives but nothing really attractive for lease.

It can be tough to get a great lease deal at the end of the model year as any price reductions is negated by the depreciation loss. From a leasing perspective, many of the 2018s are now one year old, even though they are brand new. If you lease a 2018 now for 3 years, you will be returning it in 2021 when the 2022s are coming out.

Any deals on luxury Euro brands? ie. 3 series. I know the 2019 brand new 3 series is coming out. Trying to keep monthly payment of around $400 after perhaps $7K down payment.

best deal now would be C300, at least in Ontario. $7250 (dealer & factory combined) + 3 waived payments + whatever you can get off from dealer side, likely to be another 1-2%.

But selections are drying up fast this month. Not sure what Nov program is like for the C300.

I think there is a decent deal on the Cadillac ct5 for. 24 month lease - $398 monthly plus tax fees incl reg scheduled service. I believe a down pmt is required but can’t remember the exact details

Buick CT5??? Isn't the CT5 both a Cadillac and an unreleased model at this point?

This is obviously up to each person, but I would never put down $7250 on a lease. 0 down is best, anything above that and you're already losing imo

It's not $7250 down Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Smiling Eyes. It's $7250 dealer & factory credit. therefore, you are looking to get that as the absolute MINIMUM discount off from the MSRP.

Is that 2018 or 2019 model? Around how much would monthly payments be with credits?

2018

for example: C300 configured to say Base + $10,000 in options/packages = $54,700 MSRP

Given the October credit has expired and November program is NOT posted on MB site (as of Nov 1). Therefore, this example will still employ October program as illustration

$7250 min. / guaranteed discount
say another 2% or $1,094 off on dealer side
45 months lease
2.9%
residual 47%
18,000km per year
$3150 fees rolled into payment
$0 down
No protection plan selected
No prepaid maintenance selected

Projected monthly payment - $620 + 13% hst = $700 OTR

vs

For example:
19 C300 - base + say $11,000 of options/packages = $57,000 MSRP

say no factory credit
say 5% dealer side discount
45 months lease
3.9%
52% residual (as per mb.ca)
$3150 fees rolled in
$0 down
No wear protection plan selected
No prepaid maintenance plan selected

Projected monthly - $755 + 13% taxes = $853 OTR

Apologies again. We just gave birth to a baby and seems like my brain isn’t functioning! 2018 xt5. Last month (oct) I saw it being offered for 24 months $199 biweeeekly. Just went to the Cadillac website and don’t see this offer anymore for this month.

Sorry for the confusion! Lack of sleep durig the past week. Clearly Evident from my posts lol
