Posting this here instead of the Hot Deals section as this is extremely YMMV...only if you're flying there.

The IER-Z1R is rather cheap over there:

For HKD 9580, that's around CAD 1630ish

The minute I say "you spent HOW MUCH on earbuds" someone's gonna counter with "you spent $10k on hard drives so shut up" and now I have no argument.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

Yeah, it's just like other hobbies really: 5k-20k for a bike, 5k for a gaming rig, 2k+ for a Garmin MARQ, 5k+ for a TV....etc.

Hell, some people buy sports/super/hyper cars, motorbikes, boats, houses / cottages as a hobby.

Somewhat related from LTT, released today:

GTA
After going through a few wireless earbuds, I'm going wired and just testing the waters.

I started off with the 7hz Zero and TangZu Wan'er,

Now I'm looking at the mid level, Shuoer S12 Pro, the Timeless, the Dioko, but it really feels like there is a new 'next best thing' every few months. I think I am just going to sit and keep my current pair and upgrade later.

It's a rabbit hole and its dragging me down quickly....YouTube algorithm doesn't help...

Holy moly. Almost 3 grand for in-ear phones and you are wondering why the thread did not get any love. I will add this to the list of things I am going to buy when I win that $50Mil lotto, which is never.

Not wondering at all. I know why. Simply a matter of affordability and priority.
