Welp, I checked my email and sure enough I had an email from Paypal about a $5 credit. Logged in and got my $5 credit!! Thanks OP!! Now I just have to figure out who accepts Paypal now that eBay seems to be doing away with them.

I get this email almost every week and it never works. I contacted them and they said it is only for a certain number of people before it goes void. I tell them I click through as soon as I get the email so no idea what's happening.

I use paypal occasionally, like a few times a month. Got the email about 2 months ago, thought it was a scam at first, but clicked on it anyways. Got the 5$

Seems to be the case for the majority of companies. I've yet to find one that rewards loyal users. =\

Stupid question: Since I received the offer because I specifically don't use Paypal that often, how does one use the $5 balance? When I go to my settings, it says to set the preferred payment method to balance to use it. How do I apply the balance, then pay for the rest using my stored CC?
