YMMV, YUL-FLL winter 2020 around $300 rt direct with Air Transatt

Air Transat has direct non-stop flights from YUL to FLL for as low as around $300 for winter 2020 travel. Prices vary a lot by date (I was looking at Jan 21 to Jan 29).

Possibly also available from other airports.

Might still be cheaper traveling from US airport but it's relatively cheap for flights from Canada.

Lol, they could be GIVING THESE FLIGHTS AWAY FOR FREE
And I still would not fly Air Transat
Just too many issues with this Airline
Like this recent one

That looks a whole lot like what happened Summer 2017

So although they were fined heavily
Seems like NO ONE got the message
This is not the way to treat Pax

And well with the latest news ...
No guarantees that the sale to Air Canada isn’t going to now get derailed

So ya, not flying anywhere on Air Transat

My time, money and well being (mental & physical) is worth more

Transat is a charter so they thrive on “early bookings” which is typical for vacationers. Hence, the lower price. They also allow you to book with a deposit $150-$300 per person with final balance due 60 days from departure (believe Eco Standard fares and above only).

Of course you know bags aren’t included.

Since your destination is FLL those flights (especially the ones on Saturdays and Sundays) are heavily sold by Transat to align with the numerous cruise packages they sell for ships out of Fort Lauderdale/Miami. Having said that, given cruiselines have limited windows when passengers can board and they also offer (free) “guarantees” to their clients you can be pretty confident flights will depart / arrive on time / schedules will stay the same.

^ and I don’t work for TS I work for a competitor so no cheerleading here. Part of my job is to keep an eye on the competition. And I would ignore the above poster he doesn’t travel much let alone to destinations served by this airline.
