Sad day, was an amazing piece of software. It added many features to youtube. Liked the customization it offered.

Ugh. Annoying.
And here I was hoping they'd fix the longstanding problem that prevents Chromecasting from working.
Bah....

Bah....

I think they said they would have had to reverse engineer the new API from Google and they probably saw the the Cease & Desist coming, so they deemed it not worthy of pursuing.

I can still cast just fine from my phone/tablet to a firestick/firecube (SmartTubeNext)

I do most of my youtubing on a tablet with the occasional casting to my TV. Still works fine but no clue how long it will last. Guess I'll just have to enjoy it while it lasts. I have no problems paying for Premium if it comes down to it.

Casting still works with older versions of Vanced.
I was considering installing the last known version where casting still worked.
Wonder how long before YouTube alters their API so Vanced conpletely stops working?

just downloaded on my phone. How do i connect it with my google acct to access subs, history, liked vids, etc?
