What a great deal, already have Yubikeys, I'm absolutely getting more. $10 shipping to Canada is definitely OK, shipping to across the border also a great option.

Thanks OP!

Does it manage passwords too or only used for 2FA?

I was going to ask for a Yubikey for Christmas. Now I'll need to find another idea for my wife. Jeez, thanks OP! Winking Face

Really stoked to get 2 for $20. Insane find!

You probably won't need these much once passkeys are universally supported but who knows when that will happen

Can't go wrong at the price though

I was having trouble with the link sent to me because it kept switching me to the ca site (e.g. https://www.yubico.com/ca/cart/) and then saying unable to add product.
Somehow after copying/editing/pasting the link, I was able to finally add it. To be safe, I used my US address for shipping.
OP thanked!

Thanks, just got it. Dumb question but what happens if you lose this? I guess a secondary backup method eg email will be used?

2FA was a hassle sometimes so this should help with that

Has anyone have experience with this? How accurate is it? I bought a generic fp scanner for the PC. It works half of the time. I use it for Windows login, and verifying some purchases.

It's not accurate at all. Because it's not a fingerprint reader, it's just a button on a stick really. It's having the thing with you that makes it secure, if someone doesn't have your physical key then they can't login.

edit: or maybe it's the most accurate reader you can get, since it works every time... hmmm

See this well laid out piece on why 'big tech' seems to no longer be interested in 2FA via key, email or even SMS; preferring the holy grail — an installed app on a personal mobile.

2FA is a big tech scam you must resist

How future-proof is the yubikey? How likely will there be new standards/protocols/etc in the near future that will render this obsolete?
