Zimbabwe is so broke, they are selling their elephants

The deeply rooted corruption of Mugabe's Zanu-PF has caused Zimbabwe to run out of money. So much so that they are selling off their elephants. There were a few RFDers who said the land redistribution was a great thing and created immense wealth for Zimbabwe. Where are they now?

I'm still surprised Kirsty Coventry still competes for Zimbabwe when she's been threatened with revocation of her citizenship.

Lol you fell for the old "Zimbabwe Elephant Sale" scam. Oldest scam in the book.

Canada is not anything better, they are trying to steal 15% from foreigners, and they have already stolen from foreigners in BC.

I guess the Zimbabwe obesity tourism program didn't work out.

ZIMBABWE has come up with a bizarre proposal to solve the food crisis threatening half its population with starvation. It wants to bring in obese tourists from overseas so that they can shed pounds doing manual labour on land seized from white farmers. The so-called Obesity Tourism Strategy was reported last week in The Herald, a government organ whose contents are approved by President Robert Mugabe’s powerful information minister, Jonathan Moyo.

As soon as everyone stops blaming white men for their problems then some real, productive solutions can emerge.

We have 500,000,000,000 units. They have between 35,000 and 86,000. Most likely the lower of the range.

Both are renewable. Ours renew in 50-100,000,000 years, theirs in around 36 months.
