You can get a cheapest phone and you only owe them $100 as device balance. If you cancel your plan after 1 year, you only need to pay them $50 as "cancellation cost".

Many people sell their free phones and further lower the cancellation cost.

In my opinion, a 2 year contract is not that bad.
So what's the best $0 after contract?

Thanks for all the replies

Too expensive! What you think is going to fill the gap left by the p10L ?

It may be due to the fact, that new billing cycle has not commenced yet because my account says my billing cycle refreshes in two days and my account has no arrears.
You may be onto something there. With my invoice having been generated last night, I was just now able to figure out how to charge the amount owing to a credit card of my choice. When viewing the My Account page on my phone, I saw a sort of popup called My Assistant. When I went in there and choose Accounts & Payments, there was an option to Pay. However, that option to Pay disappeared after I had paid my bill. I believe what they have removed is the ability to choose the amount of the payment and blocked making additional payments or overpayment.

Hi guys, I just recently registered for this plan.
I'm just wondering how much the actual monthly total bill is.
I've signed up with Zoomer and I thought the total amount I'll pay monthly is $36 + tax BUT my first bill came in as $40.64 + $4.87 (PST/GST) totaling $45.51.
Other charges equaled $0.00 because I didn't exceed any part of the plan coverage.
Is $45.51 the actual monthly total people who signed up for this promo pay?

If not mistaken, that could have been the prorated charges for the # of days before your next billing cycle.

The $40.64 will be normal. The extra $5 is the prorated amount from the time you signed up until the first day of the billing cycle. Mine was quite similar to yours actually.
Edit: Beaten by seconds:)

Thanks,
I received a faulty one. Phone tech support to do testing. Tech support sent me a new one without charge.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $36 5GB, $12 250MB, 2x $6 50min/50text, Fido $5 4GB data only plan with a free tablet,
Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone. Have a better and better day!

Would you mind sharing how you got RCS to work? I read you need to share your profile in Contacts, then the phone number shows "Registered" which I did. After that you're supposed to go into Stock Messaging app - Options - Chat Settings but this is missing from my Options menu...

Also a Koodo phone on Zoomer and just updated to Oreo tonight

Thanks in advance,
