At a minimum online chat to have you plan changed to th current one with more data.JHW wrote: ↑ We have had two lines with Zoomer for the past four years. It's worked out very well -- absolutely no issues in terms of signal or coverage -- the only drawback is that international roaming is expensive and there is nothing like the cheap per-day roaming features ("Roam Like Home") that the major carriers have.
We are on the $40.50 plan, but only got 3GB per line for this. Our contract just ended -- trying to figure out what to do next.
I assume there are no good deals to be had without a contract? Is the $40.50 plan discussed here recently only for two-year commitments?

Could have gotten a free phone + $100 activation credit(free 2-3 months of credit) if you went on contract for her. In addition to that, $50 more if someone referred your momcanuckcolehead wrote: ↑ Switched my Mom from Public Mobile to Zoomer today

Thanks. My current plan has enhanced voicemail -- and the new $40.50 does not. They were able to bump me up to 5 GB of data while keeping everything the same (including the voicemail) so that works out well. I am fine with sacrificing the extra GB for enhanced voicemail.wackojacko wrote: ↑ At a minimum online chat to have you plan changed to th current one with more data.

We have a number of devices on Fido and I have Zoomer. Service is the same and, if anything, is more dependent on the device itself (supported bands, antenna design, etc.).
Wish other companies offered more comparable plans without fighting with retention or win backs. My wife's company pays for her Fido but we pay for my Zoomer.
Happy Zoomer customer! $36/800m/5gb.

Anyone have thoughts on the Pixel 3A vs the Huawei P30? Is the latter worth the extra $200?

If you want to keep the phone, absolutely. Only concern you may have is the storage.whitefinger wrote: ↑ Anyone have thoughts on the Pixel 3A vs the Huawei P30? Is the latter worth the extra $200?

You have to call in to complete your order either way so just add the phone and then call them at the end and also to switch the phone to what you want.

On the $36 plan you'll pay $150 up front for the Pixel 3a and get 800 minutes and 5GB. Distributed over 24 months you'll be paying $46.41 per month.
Better to get the $40.50 plan and get unlimited minutes and 6GB and pay $100 for the Pixel 3a. Distributed over 24 months cost is $44.66 per month.

Your calculation's off. For the $36 plan, it'd be $42.25/mth.driverso wrote: ↑ On the $36 plan you'll pay $150 up front for the Pixel 3a and get 800 minutes and 5GB. Distributed over 24 months you'll be paying $46.41 per month.
