so your getting a $40 plan but you pay $20 extra that is ($20x24 = $480)
you can get A71 for $490

If you have the $40 plan (very good plan), you don't have to upgrade to the $60 plan (not a good plan).
You can just pay $350 instead, like the title said.
Then it is not a bad deal comparing to amazon, or anywhere else.

They are offered in the same price.
Comparing p30 vs A71 are like comparing apple to orange.
I won't say which one is better, as one is clearly better in some area and worse in others.
It is just personal preference.

A71 is newer, with a better screen, bigger battery, better screen-to-body ratio, and slightly better compatibility with Canada Wireless support.
p30 is lighter, better USB, slightly better CPU, and more expensive retail price.
As of camera, they are similar according to reviews.

As of me, I prefer A71

It's one of the ways that Samsung stratifies it's phones. The S series gets updates fastest and most frequently, the A series way less.

Buy yourself the dual sim version; then you can hop in data only/ and voice only.
It will save you money if you use fido 4gb plan + whatever voice plan you takes from other carrier.

Skimmed article super quickly but from what I got 25% reduction of a $60/6gb plan is $45 which is still more expensive than zoomer's current offer.

this article was dated Mar 5 and 5 months later I see no result yet. Maybe they will give COVID as an excuse to keep the price gauged for another year or 2.

Zoomed phones are all mid end ones, wouldn't recommend paying extra for them as you can't get money back by selling them

I got the P30 lite with $100 activation credit and $50 referral ×2. Also got a G7 play with the renewal. Overall I am happy with their customer service.
