Family plan is $72 for 2 lines with 3GB of data and 800 daytime minutes shared as new customers. After 6 months of service you will be eligible for Loyalty Plans. Currently their Family Loyalty Plan is 4GB and 1000 daytime minutes shared. For both plans, any additional line is $22.50 and they would share the plan's data and daytime minutes also.
Isn't it better to go for two separate $36/2G/400Min than the family plan for 2 people? What am I missing?

Also, is the $10/month ongoing or limited?
I do not think they have the $10 promo right now. When they had it, it was ongoing.

Shared data might be good for some users.

Many people who elect to go with Zoomer's Family Plans do so because they have two users with very different needs - usually one uses a lot of data and the other uses very little so, in total, they stay within plan limits. Most people find it better to go with two individual plans.
Have a Question? Don't be afraid to ask.

It is. But some people want the flexibility to share the 3gb data if one user is a 2gb+ user and the other is a light data user and does not need a full 2gb.

Just to double check.

If I sign up for this plan with the Samsung Galaxy J3, it'll be $36 and free phone if I stay for two years? But then I can just leave the phone in my drawer and use the sim they give me with my current phone (iPhone 7)? If I want to cancel, I just pay the difference of ($250 / 24 * however months I have left)? Will I be able to keep my current number or would I have to change it?

Yes to everything you said. Once you receive your new SIM, you call in to have your number ported.

Now if someone wants to PM me their name and # I have 30 days to add a referral.
Zoomer is good with their 30 days policy. Most carriers request you to get the referral before activation.

No phone = month-to-month = 200 minutes + 500mb data
With free phone = 2 years contract = 400inutes + 2gb data
Take your pick.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, 2x $8 50min/50text, Fido $5 4GB data only plan,
Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone. Have a better and better day!

They only offer this $36 2GB plan with contract and a free phone is the only way they can do to keep you under the contract. They set the device balance much higher than its market value so that you need to pay more to do early cancellation.
