I just chatted to a representative and was unable to get the deal :(
I know I'm a late comer. Just thought I'd put this out there though.

Same with my sister. She signed up for the $36 plan with 1g and the rep said if before 6 months the 2g is offered again to just call and they will adjust her account.

For the first 10 months in 2016, Zoomer offered $36 500MB plan with periodic double data/minutes promo for a few days. When Public Mobile offered the 3 months $120 plan with 12GB data in last October changed the dynamic. Zoomer started to offer the $36 2GB plan and $36 loyalty plan early November.

ATM, most cellphone providers are settled down to the $40 plan with 1GB data. Zoomer $36 plan with 1GB data is still very competitive when taking into the account of the $36 loyalty plan(after 6 months) with unlimited CW minutes and 2GB data. I think that Zoomer will continue to offer the $36 1GB plan with periodic promo of 2GB for a few days. Do your homework now and jump on the 2GB promo when it is offered.

Zoomer loyalty plans offer after 6 months is still working. 5.5 months ago, I switched my last Koodo number to Zoomer. I just made the arrangement to move the 5.5 months old number to my loyalty family plan starting October 1. My family plan will have 3 users by October. This new user uses only 50MB data/m and will no impact on the data usage on the other 2 users.

This move will save me $13.94/m
Individual plan $36.44 - The 44 cents is the monthly 911 charge for AB
Less: third user $22.50 - Family plan charges 911 fee once per plan - NOT by how many phones in a family plan.
Saving = $13.94

Since I received a $250 phone 5.5 months ago, I have to assign this number as the primary or secondary user because of the monthly write-down of my phone account with a $36 monthly payment. The first 2 users of a family plan have an assigned monthly payment of $36. While the third and fourth users have an assigned monthly payment of $22.5.

Do they notify you you are eligible for a loyalty plan or do you have to call in after 6 months and ask if they have it available?

They have not reminded me. I requested the change by email since I have almost 3 weeks to play with. I also like to have my request and confirmation in writing.

You can do this? I am the primary account holder and I got the flip phone as I did not need a new phone. I have 2 family members that only need talk/text. If I were to add 2 new lines under a Family Plan (non loyalty), after 6 months I can add myself as the 3rd line? Would I still be the account holder? Would that work? Clearly I would split the payments fairly as I would be the one using the 4gb ($45+$24.75+$24.75).
Koodo: $60/10GB
Zoomer: $45 4GB LTE Loyalty Plan

The primary user has nothing to do with the account owner. I am the Zoomer account owner and my cellphone service is with ChatR.

For the first 6 months, why pay more than they really need unless you want two LG G4 to sell. Get two talk and text plan for them for 6 months. After 6 months, switch all 3 numbers to a loyalty plan. You can be the primary user. The other 2 numbers will be the second and third users.

Option 2:
Wait for extra 1GB data promo to come back. Add 2 numbers to your account. Put all 3 numbers in a non-loyalty family plan 800 minutes + 3GB (1GB base + 1GB double promo + 1GB extra promo). After 6 months, switch to the loyalty family plan with 1000 minutes + 4GB data. The beauty of this approach is that you get 3GB data instead of 2GB data for the next 6 months.

Update: I missed that you already on the $45 4GB data plan. Option 2 is not for you. But don't get family plan for the first 6 months. Just get 2 talk+ text plan for them.

Current offer is $36 with 400 minutes and 1GB data. i.e. double promo without the extra 1GB bonus data. After 6 months, you can switch to the $36 unlimited minutes and 2GB data loyalty plan.

Please note that the extra 1GB bonus data is for new activation only. Therefore, if you get the current promo with 1GB data, you will not be able to switch when the the 2GB promo is offered again in next 6 months unless you pay the phone balance and renew your contract.

Since there is 30 days cancelation with Zoomer, you can switch to the 2GB promo if it is offered within 30 days of your activation.

I think the 2GB plan will be offered periodically. Read my previous post for my reason.

$50 until September 30, Saturday. After that, $25 it Zoomer does not extend the promo.

My guess that Zoomer may not extend the promo as there are not much competitors' offers are better than Zoomer. YMMV
