[Canadian Tire] Mastercraft Multi-Purpose Rotary Tool Accessory Bit Set with Storage Case, 301-pc $15.99

While searching something to fit in my $10 back with redeeming $50 CT Money, found this deal. $1 higher than ATL. But it's a lowest price if you need to buy something else around $35 anyway. Have fun!

Might be an ON only sale. Shows sale price for me in Markham ON, but if I change my location to anything outside of ON, reverts back to original price.

Many Mastercraft items go on 40-60% off every 3 months on rotation.
Some neg comments:
Sanding bands are loose on the drums provided and move around/fly off when used. Pretty disappointed with the quality. Drill bits and carvers work decent though.
Wire brushes lost the wires. Very poorly made. Sandpaper rolls don't last very long.

All RFD deal posters are heroes. Post a better deal if you don't like it. Thumbs-up every reasonable deal.

That one review about the sanding band being loose I wonder if they know you have to tighten the screw on the bottom to get the rubber to expand?

You're probably right. There are many more positive reviews. I think most bought it on-sale and thought it was good value.

I'm seeing $39.99 in Ottawa. Both on CT and StockTrack. Sucks because I actually want/need a new set.

The ones that show $15.99 seem to be closer the the GTA.

Upvoted regardless because it's a good deal if you live in the right area.

Does anyone have experience buying online for pickup, and picking up after the sale is over?

I would like to buy this on sale, but pick up over the weekend...

Please don't buy this, everything is temu quality. The sanding wheels and stone grinders just burn out in one use, the brush bristles fly apart if you try to make any useful work out of it and the cutting discs shatter if you feed it into the material anything more than gently. It will also shatter if you tighten the screw, it will fly off if you don't tighten the screw. The wool polishers decimate on first contact with the work piece. If you still decide to buy this, wear safety goggles and gloves as all items in this wear out immediately and produce lots of residue and dust.

Get the dremel set instead.

If you're using it a lot it's worth getting better cutting discs, sanding wheels, etc. But for occasional use these are fine.

Yeah, as long as it's ordered and picked before the sale ends you're fine.
But you should always be wearing safety goggles when using a dremel, and I'm not a fan of wearing gloves around things that spin. A dremel isn't too big of a deal, but still.
