Yes it was a good deal, but was only for the Toro 721 R and quickly went out of stock. KooyBros has also increased there price to $920

I posted this thread to help others out for other options. These are the best prices I have found as of lately

Can anyone recall pre inflation prices for these snow blowers.
I need a new snowblower as I have moved and my drive way is tripled in size.
But I would rather run over my own face with my old 2 stroke snowblower than pay some of the prices I'm seeing.
Stuff your time machine comments... I'll just keep using my crappy snowblower until things get more reasonable example: home-depot-toro-power-max-824-oe-snowbl ... 8-2430949/

It was for all of the models, not just the R. Kooy has now increased their pricing on all models.

I got the E21 in Feb 2021 for $778. There was a customer service issue and long story short, I ended up with 2 batteries too.

How are the batteries after a few winters? Can you finish your driveway after a snowfall or do you need to use the second battery?

I find that more and more stuff is moving to batteries now and this whole issue of battery dereg is an issue!

Battery life is decent, but I always like a spare. If your driveway is huge, there's no way one will do. For an "average" driveway and not too heavy a snowfall, one might do.

which one would be a better option in the long run, Toro 721 E or E21? Not sure how the battery life would be in the long run..thinking of getting the 721 one

No, it was for all of the models. Once the R was sold out some were matching the RC, E and QZE models but all models were original listed lower on KooyBros. I almost went for a QZE but ultimately went with the R.

E21, one battery lasts me one huge worst fall with end of driveway.

Otherwise 2ish 6-8" snowfalls percharge.

Ideally id get another battery one day.

My driveway is huge (can fit 6 cars). I can do the whole driveway with one battery AND the sidewalk AND my neighbour's sidewalk on both sides.

Need suggestions please.
I have a semi detached home with drive way for two cars (4 including the neighbor).
It takes me about an hour or more in the worst of storms.
I have the wired snow Joe, which is pain in the ass with cable management and the fact that it requires lot of pushing and the throwing is inconsistent too and is all over the place.

I've got a very flexible and would like to invest for long term in a good long lasting machine that I could help neighbors too if needed.

Was thinking stage 2 maybe, even though it takes lot of space but are stage 1 also self pacing or requires pushing?

Guy at home depot suggested that stage 1 due to rubber/plastic propellers are not good for the slush that snow plougher leaves at the end of the driveway?
Suggestions/ Thoughts?
