Does anyone know what is going on here?
I got the offer to extend my discount in my second call to Rogers. Both calls were in the same week.

The first associate offered $145+tax PLUS was trying to sell me to move to flex 20+sports. I then thanked him for his time and told him I will think about it.

I called back a couple days later and the associate said he could offer me the same discount without changing any of my services.

If the second associate didn't offer something I liked, I would've called a third time.

Does anyone have access to the new condo promos I've seen ($30/35 for 1.5Gbps for certain condo postal codes?)

I'm looking for new service. PM me if you can help.

Longtime legacy cable customer -- currently have Popular TV (specialty package), 150U internet, 2 boxes @ ~$141/mth incl. taxes. Just signed up for Ignite Flex 20 w Sports, 1.5 Gpbs download, 2 cable boxes, 6 mths' free Disney+, 1st 2 mths' free Crave, free technician install all for $118.64/mth incl. tax ($104.99/mth before tax).

This promotion is essentially what I see when I log into my account -- excl. Crave and free install; called Retentions and those got added on. I don't need someone to plug in the hardware, but for some reason they couldn't find a promo code to have a courier drop-off at a designated time (required due to rampant porch thieves) but could find a code to get me a full-on free technician install within a 2 hr window LOL. I asked if they could just keep my internet at 150U and charge less but that wasn't an option. I stream most of the time now so don't need all the channels of Popular TV and will be happy saving $20+/mth. I'll be cancelling Crave after the 2 mths' free expires.

Retentions did give me the option of the Ignite Premier package for $135.55/mth (incl. tax, all the same benefits listed above) but I'll live with Flex 20 for now, knowing I can always upgrade.

Just a note with the Rogers Disney+ free subscription deal, in case this wasn't already mentioned:

With normal Disney+ subscriptions, when you cancel, your service ends at the end of the last paid cycle. So say your monthly subscription renewed on the 1st of the month and then you cancel on the 2nd, you get service until the end of that month.

However, with Rogers' Disney+ subscriptions, when you cancel, your service ends immediately. You don't even get the rest of the day. It just ends. So, if you're going to cancel, it's best to cancel at the end of the payment cycle. Luckily I decided to wait until near the end of the cycle before cancelling, as I was worried it would be like this.

My scenario was that I have both a Rogers TV + internet bundle, and a separate Rogers cellular account, but both had the Disney+ promotion offers. My Rogers Disney+ promotion for TV/internet was expiring, but they offered the Disney+ promotion on my Rogers cellular account too. So I cancelled the Disney+ subscription through Rogers TV/internet a couple of days before it expired, and then activated it again through my Rogers cellular account immediately.

All the account information remains intact if you use the same email address as before, so when I re-activated the promotion, I had all the same user profiles present and could restart paused shows at exactly where I had left off. Furthermore, as some here are already aware, the email address used for Disney+ does not have to be the same as the email address used for the Rogers account.

I’m being offered 500u for $54.99/month.

Saw others getting 1.5gb for cheaper, so taking it that this is not a good deal.

This was via Facebook chat.
I tried Facebook chat to accept the offer from last week, but a new agent offered the 1.5gb for the same price so accepted that instead. Tried to see if they would throw Disney+ in, but that was a no go. Took the internet offer as it’s cheaper than what I currently have.

Data point for the group.

My $99.99/mo promo price for 150u and flex 20 + sports was coming up early April. Viewing habits changed so was only looking for Flex 5.

Live chat offered
$85/mo for 150u + flex 5
$115/mo for 150u + flex 20+sports

I put in cancellation. Got a call from Zedd one week later.
$60/mo for 150u + flex 5
$90/mo for 150u + flex 20+sports

I took the Flex 5 package. I only have the option of cable at my house in SW Ontario. Got the contract today and it says it's $45/mo.... but not holding my breath!

Making the switch from digital tv to ignite. Have 150u now, which seems fine. Will that be good enough when adding tv? One rep says 150 will be okay, another says I need at least 500u. (One user)

When I had Ignite, I had 150u and it was fine. The tv speeds are outside of your modems bandwidth being used for Internet. I wouldn't worry about it.

We went from 500u to 150u in December and haven’t noticed any difference.

Have internet 500u for 56$ all in. Deal was expiring on feb so I tried their fb chat and was offered 60$ for same plan. Refused and put in the cancellation. Waited for zed to call but nothing. Called them myself 2 days later. Got a great guy on the other side. He immediately offered 44.999 for 1.5gps. Took it immediately.

Meanwhile bell also came to my house to make a sale, they provided 1.5gbps for 60$.

Stayed with rogers. Discount applicable for 2 yrs.

How long ago since you've left Rogers? There is a chance you might be in Zedd Solution's system (Rogers' 3rd party winback team) and if you call them up and said you were a Rogers customer before, they may offer a winback deal to get you to go back to Rogers. Give them a call at 1-866-225-6772.

Our London House Rogers deal is expiring march 20 2023.

Tried my first 1 1/2 hour call to Rogers rep (Kitchener) who gave me run around when I tried to cancel, saying I would loose my home phone number if I did so I should leave it to "Bell" to coordinate any cancellation. She might have been smart to try to keep me from setting up the cancellation to get a call from ZEDD?

Eventually dragged on so long I gave up. The only deal she was offering me would decrease my $90 discount off the old package: gig + old flex 20 (which included sports) + prime time USA + home phone w/out LD $123 incl tax => downgrade to new version of flex 10 + sports + gig + home phone =$132.5 incl tax. So I would give up channels and pay increased cost to help pay for Shaw.

Frustrating. We receive so many spam phone calls on our home phone we never answer it anymore unless we recognize the number.

If ZEDD calls you, how does it the caller ID show up? "ZEDD" ? "Rogers" "suspected spam?" or the 1-866-225-6772 number. I ask because I wanted to program it into our phone's directory to tell me isn't China / Philippines or wherever spam. It is so bad we are planning to cancel the home phone -- but first I need to get a good deal from Rogers.

(Bell only offers Fibe 15 in our neighbourhood which I find absurb after all these years).
