Does that include loan payments, rent payments, insurance payments and all this?

They got rid of the cap. The email claims December 1st 2018, but I know when this thread was started, I double-checked then and it said 40 airmiles, not 50 and was limited.

Now you have to decide whether the lack of monthly fee waiver is worth it.

You can do very well reloading the PayTM at the post office. This year between this and normal debit payments I maxed out the $30000 spend cap on the Scotia Momentum (monthly fee though for account), therefore looking to switch to the Air Miles debit. In essence if you were to pay utilities with a credit card you're Triple dipping (credit card, PayTM points, debit cash/points back).

Back to the BMO account, depending on how much you value the Air Mile it's second place behind the 1% of the Scotia Momentum...it's just too bad about the monthly fee. When the fee came off about two years ago I jumped right on it for the many passive Air Miles it offers.
